I purchased this Mustang in December of 2006 from a well known classic car dealer in Lubbock Texas. The car is a true High Performance J Code 302 car. The car was purchased in Oregon in 1968 and the original owner's manual is with the car. I have a clear Texas title to the car.
Here are the options from the factory to the best of my knowledge.
J-Code High Performance 302 (still a 302 but not a 68 block)
Acapulco Blue exterior (still original color but repainted)
2 tone blue interior (now black)
8'' rear end with no limited slip and 2.79 gear (now a 9'' 28 spline rear end and 4.11 detroit locker. I still have the 8'' housing and axles)
bucket seat standard interior
c4 automatic transmission (still running the c4 and have a 4 speed toploader and bellhousing with Hurst Competition shifter to drop in)
